Riccadonna, band to headline benefit

Comedian Mark Riccadonna and the Funny Pages Band will be the featured entertainers at a benefit show at 7 p.m. Nov. 8 at Holy Resurrection Hall, 1836 North Road.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance by calling Mary Pitinii at 330-501-7531.

All proceeds will benefit Holy Trinity Orthodox Christian Academy and Preschool.

There will be a cash bar and food available, including pizza, meat and cheese plates and nachos.

The front man for the Funny Pages Band is John Denning, who is also known as talk-show host Couch Burner, whose show airs on WNIR radio in Akron.

Tom Cullison, program director of WNIR, will be the host for the evening.
