Model railroad layouts will be open for viewing

The Youngstown Model Railroad Association will open its doors to the public this weekend and two more.

Two room-sized model railroads and cities, one on each floor of the YMRA building, will be operating from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and again Nov. 9-10 and Dec. 7-8.

One of the displays is a model of downtown Youngstown as it looked several decades ago.

The YMRA is at 751 N. Four Mile Run Road.

Admission is $4 (free for children 11 and under with an adult).
