Charity quilt to be displayed
CORTLAND
Hopeful Hearts Charity Quilt, made as a public service for Stitches magazine, will be on display in Cortland from Saturday through Nov. 8 at the Agricultural Center, 520 W. Main St.
Embroiderers and quilters from all over the country created the quilt, made of 12 squares that promote causes and charities dear to each of them.
Tracy Petrokovich owns Hoop & Stitch Embroidery with her husband, Mark, operating out of their home. They were chosen to create a square for the quilt and chose Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry. The quilt travels all over America to be displayed, and it’s Hoop & Stitches’ turn to show it.
