Woman says man tried to abduct her in Campbell

CAMPBELL

A 22-year-old Princess Street woman told police that a man tried to abduct her shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The woman said she was walking home from the Family Dollar and was crossing Robinson Road when an older man drove up alongside and asked her if she wished to make some extra money.

The woman told police that she believes the comment was sexual in nature.

She described the man as having gray hair and a beard, and driving a black Chevrolet truck.

Police told the woman to report any further sightings of the man.
