CANFIELD
The Canfield Cardinal Cafe will have a grand opening and ribbon-cutting at 7:30 tonight in Canfield High School, 100 Cardinal Drive.
The cafe is teamed up with the national franchise Frullati Cafe.
The student-run business will be operated by students participating in Junior Achievement’s “JA Company Program,” a program taught by volunteers from the community in conjunction with Sherry Creighton, the Canfield High School business teacher.
NE Ohio collaboration is awarded a grant

The Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network, Medina County Workforce Development, Team Northeast Ohio (Team NEO) and WIRE-Net are part of a Northeast Ohio collaboration that is among 10 groups nationwide to be awarded a Make it in America grant.
The $1.79 million allocated to Northeast Ohio will be used to provide specialized assistance to as many as 25 companies that have the potential to bring manufacturing jobs back to the U.S., specifically to Northeast Ohio.
The grant will go toward helping those firms in areas such as commercialization of new products or services.
FNB prices shares

F.N.B. Corp., the holding company of the First National Bank of Pennsylvania, announced Tuesday that it had priced its new offering of 4.1 million shares of common stock at $12.25 per share.
The company announced Monday that it would issue about $50 million in common stock to help it prepare for more stringent banking regulations.
The bank said that its offering is expected to close Friday.
