Country star Josh Turner coming to Stambaugh

Country music star Josh Turner will come to Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., on Jan. 18.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Stambaugh box office, by phone at 330-259-0555 and at stambaughauditorium.com.

An exclusive pre-sale will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday. To get an exclusive pre-sale code, text the word “presale” to 22828.

All tickets are reserved seats.

One of country music’s most recognizable hit-makers, Turner has sold more than 5 million albums and garnered four No. 1 hits: “Your Man,” “Would You Go With Me,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance” and “All Over Me.”

Turner released his fifth studio album, Punching Bag, on June 12, 2012, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. The debut single, “Time is Love,” was No. 1 on the Best of 2012 Billboard Country Chart.

The Associated Press has called Turner one of the most effective — and hard-core country — performers of his day.
