UPDATE: Mercer County Courthouse cleared of bomb threat, reopens at 1 p.m.


MERCER, PA. — Mercer County officials said the courthouse has been cleared after a sweep of the building by bomb dogs from Mercer, Lawrence and Beaver counties. The courthouse will reopen to the public at 1 p.m.

The courthouse was closed this morning after officials received a bomb threat, said Jeff Greenburg, county public information officer.
