Youngstown woman threatens to call Mom on cops

YOUNGSTOWN

Police say a 28-year-old woman they struggled to arrest early Saturday morning threatened to call her mother on them.

Officers were called to Everett Street at about 6:05 a.m. on a report of a woman screaming outside. When they arrived they found Adriane L. Wilson, who told them she needed a ride and would not stop screaming.

When she was told she was under arrest for disorderly conduct she kept screaming, then fought with two officers who had to take her to the ground to handcuff her, reports said.

Wilson called them names and threatened to call her mother on them, and continued when she was finally cuffed and placed in a cruiser, the report states.

As she was booked into the Mahoning County jail on the additional charges of assault on a peace officer and resisting arrest, Wilson yelled at the jail staff and again said she would call her mother.

She is expected to be arraigned Monday in municipal court.
