Pekarciks celebrate 50th with family

YOUNGSTOWN

Joseph L. and Rosemarie Pekarcik of Youngstown celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family dinner Oct. 23 at Caff Capri in Boardman.

Their son and his wife, David and Tina Pekarcik of Boardman, hosted the dinner.

They have one grandchild, Jamie.

The former Rosemarie Husar and Mr. Pekarcik were married Oct. 23, 1963, at St. Elizabeth Church in Campbell.

The couple are members of St. Matthias Church, Our Lady of Sorrows Parish.

Mrs. Pekarcik worked for Dr. David H. Levy in Youngstown and retired as a receptionist.

Mr. Pekarcik retired in 2004 from General Motors in Warren, where he worked as an assembler. He is a U.S. Army veteran.
