BOARDMAN

Township police arrested a Poland mother Wednesday on theft and child- endangering charges.

Jenna Nair, 26, of Hamilton Avenue, is accused of stealing clothing from the Old Navy store at the Shops at Boardman Park while her 3-year-old son was with her.

Employees told police they observed Nair enter the fitting room with multiple pieces of clothing in a stroller with her son.

After she left the store, the employees discovered all the items Nair took with her in the fitting room were missing.

Police found Nair in the parking lot outside of Old Navy after employees pointed her out. According to a police report, she admitted taking three items, but said multiple other pieces of clothing in her vehicle were not stolen.

Nair is charged with two first-degree misdemeanors. She was set for arraignment on the charges late Thursday in Mahoning County Area Court here.
