Austintown: Bethel Assembly of God Church, 3807 Mahoning Ave., will host a trunk-or-treat from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Games, hot dogs, snacks, coffee, and trunks decorated and full of candy will be offered.

Boardman: A trunk-or-treat event will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today on the drive behind Maag Theatre in Boardman Park. Free games, crafts and treats will be available.

Canfield: Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., will host a trunk-or- treat event 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Members of the church will pass candy out from the trunks of their decorated automobiles, and the Canfield UMC youth group will lead activities. Refreshments will be provided. Campbell: Gospel Temple Baptist Church, 279 Whipple Ave., will host a community trunk-or-treat event from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Girard: First Presbyterian Church of Girard, 890 Church Hill Road, will host a trunk-or-treat event from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday. The event will include games, pumpkin decorating, music, refreshments and candy distribution. In inclement weather, activities will be moved inside the church. For information, call 330-505-1192.

Grove City, Pa.: A trick-or-treat will be at Grove City Premium Outlets, 1911 Leesburg Grove City Road. Ghosts or goblins under age 12 can collect treats at participating stores from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Free. Information at www.premiumoutlets.com/grove city or 724-748-4770.

Greenville, Pa.: Halloween on Main event will be after the borough’s trick-or-treat hours this Saturday. A 4 p.m. parade will begin at Riverside Park and end at Central Park. At the end of the parade, a downtown festival will be offered through 10 p.m. Free. 724-588-7150.

Poland: The Poland Junior Women’s Club will host a Halloween Carnival from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the cafetorium of McKinley Elementary, 7 Elm St. Children in preschool through second grade, accompanied by an adult, are invited to come in a costume and enjoy snacks, games and a costume parade.

Warren: Harvest Point Church will host a trunk or treat from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Lordstown Plaza parking lot at 6100 Tod Ave. The church will offer coffee, cider and doughnuts.

Warren: Champion Estates Assisted Living, 1 Windsor Place, will host a community trunk-or-treat from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Festivities will include trick or treating, coloring contests, pumpkin painting, pumpkin bowling and refreshments.

Youngstown area: Participating IHOP restaurants in the Youngstown area will offer trick-or-treaters ages 12 and younger a free “Scary Face” pancake Thursday. The free pancake comes with a whipped topping mouth, glazed strawberry nose, and kids can decorate as they wish with two mini-Oreo cookies and eight pieces of candy corn.

Youngstown: Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 388 E. Midlothian Blvd., will host a community trunk or treat 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the church parking lot.

Youngstown: Rising Star Baptist Church, 2943 Wardle Ave., family fun night, 5:30 to 8 p.m., Tatum Fellowship Hall. Candy and games planned.
