Give a welcome to the Valley's newest citizens

YOUNGSTOWN

Thirteen new U.S. citizens were sworn in Thursday by Judge R. Scott Krichbaum of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court today.

Their names, hometowns and countries of origin are: Hadi Georges Chammas, Poland, Lebanon; Rizuana Jahan, Boardman, Bangladesh; Durbek Abdurakhmanov, Youngstown, Uzbekistan; Rey John Tumanda Mejo, Austintown, Philippines; Georges Antoine Abi Habib, Poland, Lebanon; Lina Thi Thu Nguyen, Youngstown, Vietnam; Bilal Hamad Alhmeed, Liberty, Jordan; Mohamad Askar, Boardman, Lebanon; Karen Vivo Williams, Boardman, Philippines; Haitham Yousef Emaishat, Boardman, Jordan; Francisco Suy Chumil, Canfield, Guatemala; Gaeton Wayne Thompson, Boardman, Jamaica; and Akram Ahmad Abdallah, Liberty, Jordan.
