UPDATE | Mann tells jurors he wants "to be alive"
WARREN — Louis Mann told jurors today that he reads the bible, talks to other inmates and wants to live.
"I very much want to be alive for my [daughters} … my son," he said. "I leave it in your hands."
Testimony in the penalty phase of the trial has concluded for the day and closing arguments and deliberation are expected Monday.
The jury is tasked with deciding whether Mann should get the death penalty for killing his parents two years ago.
Earlier today, a chaplain at the Trumbull County jail testified.
John Russell said Mann's Christian testimony to other inmates over the past 18 months has been "effective" and "compelling" since he became a Christian during meetings at the jail with Russell.
