Little Falcons defeat Howland

The 100 pound Austintown Little Falcons team defeated Howland 28-6 Oct. 21 in the junior varsity super bowl game. Noah Thomas led the offense with three touchdown runs, John Cambert scored on a conversion run and Davion Pritchard stripped a Tiger player of the football and streaked to the end zone for six points. Larry Simpson, Caden Covan, Jordan Moore, Damond Luten, Jaden Rivers, Benjamin Miller and Cameran Fiorention all played well to help the team to win the title.

Local golfer finishes school career

Austintown Fitch senior Rachel Wiliamson finished her high school career by shooting an 86 at division one districts at the legends golf course in Massillon. Rachel was a four-year letter winner and also had the low average all four years. She set Fitch girls golf records by shooting a 35 her junior year and having the all time low scoring average. She was a second team all federal league has a freshman and a first team all american conference her other three years.

She advanced to districts two years, and missed qualifiying for state by six strokes. She also qualified for the greatest golfer of the valley the last two years. She plans on continuing her golf career in college.

Fitch defeats Perry

The Fitch girls soccer team defeat Massillon Perry 1-0 at Perry. Lauren Bower scored for the Falcons with an assist by Kaelyn Puhalla.

Andrea Precurato had three saves for Austintown.
