3 women arrested

YOUNGSTOWN

Police arrested three women on obstruction-of-justice charges after U.S. marshals tried to arrest a man wanted on two felony warrants about 12 a.m. Wednesday at a South Side hone.

Marshals were at an East Boston Avenue home looking for Tyreese Lynch, 19, who has warrants for aggravated robbery and felonious assault. An officer spotted Lynch, who last listed an address on East Judson Avenue, through a window, and marshals prepared to go inside, reports said.

The homeowner, Shequila Daniels, told marshals Lynch was not there but she changed her story three times, according to police reports. She was warned she could be arrested if Lynch was found inside.

Officers went inside and found Lynch hiding in the basement, and he was arrested. As officers looked for Lynch in the home, reports said two other women, Tamara Chatman, 20 and Chiquana McIntosh, 25, disrupted the marshals during their search, reports said.

The three women and Lynch were all taken to Mahoning County jail.
