The Austintown Colts 100 pound squad was eliminated from the second round playoffs after falling to the Howland Little Tigers Oct. 20. All the players worked hard this season and the coaches, parents, and other supporters have expressed their pride in the team.

The 120 pound Colts suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Poland Little Bulldogs 8-6 in the semifinal round of playoffs. This Colts squad had an amazing season, finishing with a record of 7-2 and having only 28 points scored against them defensively the entire season.

It was a rematch of the Austintown teams Oct. 20 with the Colts taking on the Little Falcons. Only this time the Colts came up victorious and earned their shot at the Superbowl title in Poland Oct 27. Colts touchdowns were made by Rod’dell Bebbs and a defensive touchdown was made by Dakota Edwards to lead to a great win for the Colts of 16-6.

For the Falcons team, Richard Edwards scored the Falcon touchdown as Drew Bretsik and Nicholas Hall played their last game for the team. David Gunger, Daniel Ifft, Christopher Scott, Austin Gartner, Logan Italliano, Daniel Schmitt Jr., Cedric Ross, Michael Wilson and Justin Stanfield all played well in defeat.
