Second suspect in custody in YSU armed robbery

YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown State University spokesman Ron Cole said a second suspect is in custody today after a Tuesday armed robbery in the Lincoln Avenue parking deck at the university.

The robbery happened about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday while a woman was sitting in her car. Two men walked up to her window. One pointed a gun and demanded the purse. Police chased one suspect on foot and caught him within minutes, Cole said. They had the second suspect in custody today, he said.
