Thieves rob Lowe's in Boardman

BOARDMAN — Township police are investigating who stole a lumber splitter from Lowe's on Doral Drive on Sunday.

Loss-prevention officials for the store discovered the missing $1,395 item on Monday. Sometime between 2 p.m. and 7:55 Sunday is when the theft happened.

The thief broke into the chain-link fence surrounding a storage area.
