Seminar set for families dealing with Alzheimer’s

A seminar on “Legal and Financial Concerns” for families dealing with Alzheimer’s disease is being offered by the Alzheimer Network at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Austintown Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road.

The presenter is Atty. Robert Rusu, a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. The session is free, but reservations are required. Call the Alzheimer’s Network at 330-788-9755 or 866-822-2102.

The Alzheimer Network is a local volunteer organization providing information, guidance and a variety of services for area families who are concerned about Alzheimer’s disease.

Poland Township trustees will have a special meeting at 6 p.m. today at the township government center, 3339 Dobbins Road. Trustees will advertise for bids for the sidewalk project on state Route 170. The board also may adjourn to executive session.
