Hubbard first Walk to School Day is Friday

HUBBARD — Hubbard students will participate in their first Walk to School Day on Friday.

The event begins at 7 a.m. for middle- and high-school students and at 7:40 a.m. for St. Patrick’s and elementary students.

Participants are meeting at Hubbard Roosevelt Gymnasium.

Karen A. Studer, an Action for Healthy Kids advocate, organized the event.

Studer said the event highlights the benefits of walking or biking to school.
