JACQUELINE ADAIR

Education: A master’s of business administration and bachelor of science in combined science, both from Youngstown State University, East High School graduate.

Employment: Self-employed, preparing young adults for the GED test.

Family: Widow, two adult children.

Priority: Community involvement. Inclusion of African and African-Amercian history in the curriculum. Extension of the school day and perhaps even the school year.

Education: Advanced studies at Kent State University; master of science in secondary administration from Youngstown State University; and bachelor of science in education from Fayetteville University.

Employment: Retired Youngstown City Schools principal.

Family: Wife, Janice; two adult children.

Priority: To continue working with the superintendent and the board of education members to move the district into academic excellence.
