Westminster Family Day event set for Nov. 2

NEW WILMINGTON, PA.
Westminster College will host its annual Family Day on Nov. 2.
Families and friends will be welcomed with a variety of activities including coffee and meeting with Westminster College President Richard Dorman at 9:30 a.m. in the Berlin Student Lounge on the second floor of the McKelvey Campus Center, a family barbecue from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Old 77 ($9 for adults and Westminster College students, $6 for children 12 and under) and a football game against the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets at 1 p.m. in Burry Stadium ($6 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens).
Reservations and payment for lunch must be made no later than Friday. Reservations can be made online at www.westminster.edu/events. General admission football tickets will be available at lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or at the gate.
Phi Kappa Tau fraternity will have its fifth annual can drive during lunch in Old 77. Nonperishable canned goods collected will be donated to a local food bank. For each item given, donors will receive a chance to win one of many gift cards.
