Slovak ladies honor scholarship recipients

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, Youngstown District, recently presented scholarships to students in the diocese from parochial grade school through college. Twenty-five recipients received $30,000 in scholarships. Some of the recipients, seated from left, are Vincent Pezzuto, St. Rose School in Girard; Mya Agee, Holy Family in Poland; Bernadette Demechko, FCSLA Youngstown District president; Justin Viau, St. Pius X School in Baltimore, Ohio; Brooke Chandler, Holy Family; and Deanna Demechko, Hoban High School in Akron.
