City man arrested for drugs after traffic stop


CAMPBELL — Police stopped a Youngstown man for failing to properly signal a turn onto McCartney Road, then arrested him after finding a bag containing 2.1 grams of suspected heroin inside his sock.

Officers pulled over the driver, 22-year-old Saint Born Robles, of Kendis Circle, at about 1 a.m. Sunday, and soon after found that Robles had a suspended driver's license.

When asked by police if he had any illegal weapons or drugs on his person or in the car, Robles replied that he didn't and gave officers permission to check.

When they searched Robles, police discovered the bag of suspected heroin. They also found and confiscated $190 in cash.

Robles was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, as well as for failure to properly signal before changing course and for driving under suspension.

He will appear in Campbell Municipal Court at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
