Stam-BOO Chorus plans holiday event

Stam-BOO Chorus will present a Night at the Races on Friday at Stambaugh Auditorium Ballroom, 1000 Fifth Ave.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30. Races will begin at 7.

A Halloween costume contest is part of the evening, or patrons may wear only a disguise from the neck up, such as a hat, mask and face paint.

Games, sing-alongs, prizes, basket raffles, a 50-50 raffle and a cash bar are planned.

The cost is $15. To buy tickets, make reservations, place an ad or sponsor a race, call 330-509-9775. Tickets also will be sold at the door.
