Teen banquet

AUSTINTOWN

Ohio Valley Teen Challenge will host its fall banquet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Highway Tabernacle Church, 3000 S. Raccoon Road.

Guest speaker will be the Rev. Ken Johnson, chaplain for the Indianapolis Colts. Tickets are $25 per person or $200 per table of eight. Reservations are due by Monday.

Brownlee Woods

YOUNGSTOWN

The Brownlee Woods Neighborhood Association will host a meeting Wednesday at Brownlee Woods library, 4010 Sheridan Road, beginning at 6 p.m. The speaker will be Anne Liller, manager of urban libraries for the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County. Councilman John R. Swierz, D-7th, will attend to inform the group of events and issues in their neighborhood.

Eastwood kids event

A trick-or-treat event will be offered for children 12 and younger at Eastwood Field, 111 Eastwood Mall Blvd., from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Children and adults require a ticket; they are available for $1 each at the Scrappers Team office.
