AWARDS

Lori Bowser, a visual communications expert at Fastsigns in Boardman, recently received the Bronze Sales Award at the 2013 Fastsigns Outside Sales Summit in Dallas, Texas.

The Bronze Sales Award is presented to outside-sales consultants who made sales between $200,000 and $399,000 from July 1, 2012, to June 30, 2013. With more than 500 Fastsigns centers in the U.S. and Canada, only 47 outside- sales consultants received this award.

Patty Helmick, Kim Griffin, Karen Tomaino and Marisa Volpini, who all work as real- estate agents for Real Living Volpini, have each earned Sales Club Award recognition from the Ohio Association of Realtors. Helmick, of the Howland office, received the Sales Club Award of Distinction. Griffin, also of the Howland office, received the Sales Club Award of Achievement. Tomaino, who works in the Boardman office, received the Sales Club Award of Achievement, and Volpini, also of the Boardman office, received the Sales Club Award of Achievement. Each award was issued for making more than $1 million in sales.

Tarick Bernat, of American Financial Services in Boardman, has qualified to be a part of the “Top of the Table” segment of the Million Dollar Round Table, an association of financial professionals from across the country. Outstanding client service, ethics and professionalism earned Bernat the highest level of status among MDRT members.

Accounting

Packer Thomas, a regional accounting firm in Canfield, has hired Mark J. Patrick as a principal. Patrick, a graduate of Benjamin Franklin University in Washington, D.C., has 25 years of experience in the industry. The firm also hired Ann Rogers as a manager. Rogers is a graduate of Alliance College with an advanced certificate from Robert Morris University. She has 16 years of experience.
