YSU takes 14-7 lead on Western Illinois in 2Q

YSU quarterback Kurt Hess threw a 2-yard TD pass with 5:08 left in the second quarter to give the Penguins a 14-7 lead over Western Illinois in Saturday's game at YSU.

The TD was set up by a bad snap on a WIU punt, which the Penguins recovered at the Leathernecks' 8.
