Film festival reveals winners

YOUNGSTOWN

The winner of the Youngstown Film Festival’s Best of the Fest award is “The Great Incarcerator, Part 2: The Shadow of Lucasville,” directed by Derrick Jones and produced by Urban Nu-sense Films.

The Audience Selection award went to “Valiant,” a short directed by Jonathan Chiarle.

The festival was held last weekend.

Theater offers ‘Sleepy Hollow’

Boardman

AfterSchool Arts youth theater troupe will present “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” at 8 p.m. Oct. 25 and 26, and Nov. 1 at the Garage Theater, 7206 Market St.

The AfterSchool Players will perform scenes from “Sleepy Hollow” from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the annual Pumpkin Walk at Fellows Riverside Gardens.
