WARREN
A jury found Francis Fasline, 22, of Wrenfield Drive, Hubbard, guilty of felonious assault and tampering with evidence.
The jurors deliberated about five hours Thursday in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court before returning their verdict to Judge Ronald Rice, who ordered that Fasline’s bond be revoked and he be taken to the county jail.
The county Adult Probation Deparatment will conduct a pre-sentence investigation before Judge Rice sentences Fasline in several weeks. He could get up to 11 years in prison.
The charges stem from an incident Sept. 29, 2012, outside of Michael’s Bar on North Main Street in Hubbard in which James Capperes, 29, of Georgetown Street, Sharpsville, Pa., was hit by a car driven by Fasline after the two had an earlier confrontation.
Capperes suffered injuries to both legs.
