Hubbard takes part in disaster drill

HUBBARD — Other than some communications and triage issues, rescue crews were satisfied with performance during a disaster drill this morning at the Hubbard schools campus.

Rescue groups from Trumbull County, Hubbard city and township, an amatuer ham radio group, Life Fleet, and two search-dog teams participated in the drill, which was coordinated by Mike Kerr of the Eagle Joint Fire District.

Overall, Kerr said, the drill went smoothly. School students did not participate in it.
