Hubbard NHS will host a fundraiser

Hubbard High School National Honor Society is hosting a fundraiser for the Alyssa Wyatt Memorial Fund from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 19.

Alyssa was a little girl who loved goldfish crackers and was a victim of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. The club plans to hand out goldfish crackers while accepting donations at various locations, including Walgreens, Rite-Aid, Shop ’n Save, and Save-A-Lot, all in Hubbard.

All of the proceeds will be distributed to funds and charities in the Sandy Hook community.
