Ex-San Diego Mayor pleads guilty to 3 crimes

SAN DIEGO (AP) - Former San Diego Mayor Bob Filner, driven from office by sexual harassment allegations, pleaded guilty today to felony false imprisonment and two counts of misdemeanor battery involving three women. The felony count alleged false imprisonment “by violence, fraud, menace and deceit” but did not elaborate on the circumstances.
