Boardman man arrested for trafficking in marijuana

A Boardman man was arrested on Friday on a warrant for trafficking in marijuana.

Garrett Ensley, 25, of Stratmore Avenue, was arrested on Friday. Police were issued a search warrant for Ensley’s house on Aug. 21. On Aug. 22, police entered the home on Huntington Drive and found Ensley in the bathroom destroying evidence, according to a police report.

The search revealed a mason jar containing two bags of marijuana, a Tupperware container containing a large bag of marijuana, a glass pipe with drug residue and two digital scales, according to the report.

Ensley has a pretrial and a preliminary hearing at 10 a.m. Nov. 26 in Boardman court.
