MSWCD election meeting Oct. 23

YOUNGSTOWN — The 62nd annual election meeting of the Mahoning Soil and Water Conservation District will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 23 at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitors Center at Mill Creek Park’s Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave.

Adult county residents and landowners may vote during those hours for people to fill two open seats on the district’s board of supervisors.

A free presentation by a gardens representative will begin at noon.

The cost of lunch is $9. Absentee ballots may be obtained from the district office.
