Police and Fire Levy

A five-year, 3-mill renewal police and fire levy to generate $198,197 annually. It would cost the owner of a $100,000 home $105 annually.SFlbThe money generated would be used only for police and fire department wages, as well as for equipment needs within the departments.

Income Tax Levy

A five-year, 1 percent income tax renewal levy beginning June 1.

It would generate about $400,000 annually.

Only working adults would be taxed.

Ninety percent of the money generated would go into the general fund, while the remaining 10 percent would be used for operations of the city’s Roosevelt Park.
