Business women plan dinner event

Youngstown Business and Professional Women will host a dinner, fundraiser and Woman of the Year presentation Oct. 22 at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and include networking, dinner, a basket raffle, an award presentation and a program.

Delivering the keynote address will be Patricia M. Sweeney, Mahoning County health care commissioner.

Proceeds will go toward scholarships for female Youngstown State University students.

The event coincides with National Business Women’s Week, Oct. 21 through 25. The week allows communities, companies and organizations the chance to celebrate contributions of those who have improved women’s lives.
