Pa. man arrested for domestic violence
YOUNGSTOWN — A Pennsylvania man was arrested on domestic violence charges at about 1:10 a.m. today after taking his estranged girlfriend's 15-month-old son during an argument at a home in the 2900 block of Noel Avenue.
The mother of the child told police the father of the child, William Happ, was upset she went on a date and he slapped her and pushed her before taking the child and driving away.
A police report noted Happ has no visitation or custodial rights.
The child's mother called Happ and convinced him to bring the child back. Reports said the mother told them she didn't want him to get in trouble but she wanted the child back.
Police arrested and he was placed in the Mahoning County jail.
