Farmers National Bank has hired Pete Noll as its newest executive. Noll, of Boardman, has been named vice president, commercial lending relationship manager. Noll has been a loan officer with Farmers’ commercial lending department since 2008.

Gasser Chair Co. has received an award for its Gasser Dazzles advertising campaign. Gasser won Best Print Advertising Campaign at the annual American Gaming Association Communications banquet last month. The company manufactures table-game seating for the international gaming market.

The surgical technology associate’s degree program at the National College in Youngstown recently earned the distinction of “excellence” from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting for achieving a 100 percent pass rate. The college’s health information management program also achieved a milestone as it was awarded accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education.

Refresh Dental, which is based in New Castle, Pa., was recently named to Inc. Magazine’s list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. The company ranked No. 441 on the list of 500 companies. The company’s CEO, Kenneth Cooper lives in Canfield and is a native of Columbiana. Between 2008 and 2010, the company grew from one to eight locations. Refresh has 35 locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

The Boardman Plato’s Closet has achieved the “Gold Star Standard” from the national retail chain. A store reaches the Gold Star Standard when it achieves a set of standards set forth by the franchiser during the evaluation process. The Boardman store achieved the “Customer Experience,” “Store Operations” and “Consistent Brand Identity” standards to earn Gold Star recognition this year.
