St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church was the setting of the exchange of vows at 2 p.m. Aug. 24 of Carol A. Moore of Boardman and Dr. Gregory M. Gomori of Austintown.

The Rev. Marcus Gomori, the groom’s brother of Las Vegas, was the officiant.

A reception followed at Assumption Social Center.

Russell and Edith Moore of Austintown are the bride’s parents. The parents of the groom are Alexander Gomori of Youngstown and the late Ann Gomori.

The bride wore a re-embroidered lace-and-taffeta gown with pearl and crystal beading, metallic accents and sequins.

Linda Kello was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Marian Kachmar and Tricia Turjanica.

The attendants wore black gowns with purple sashes.

Carl Alexander served as best man. Groomsmen were David Moore, the bride’s brother, and Atty. Steven Goldberg.

The bride earned an associate degree in applied science from Youngstown State University. She is postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service in New Middletown.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in combined science from YSU and a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is retired.

After a Disney cruise to the western Caribbean, the couple reside in Austintown.
