The 13th annual Special Needs Winterfest Dance is set for 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at Mahoning Country Club.
The dance is open to all high-school-age students with special needs in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties.
Drop-off time is from 4:30 to 5 p.m. with dinner from 5 to 6 p.m. and dancing from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The Snow Prince and Snow Princess will be crowned toward the end of the dance and a drawing will take place for the dance court with names drawn randomly from each school’s tickets.
There is no cost for the dance, but RSVPs are required to let the country club know how much food to prepare.

A photographer will be at the dance to take pictures, and Santa and his elves and Mrs. Claus also will make an appearance.
All students attending the dance this year will receive a DVD of the event through the generosity of Videos By Barry.
Parents will be welcome only between 4:30 and 5 p.m. and between 8:15 and 8:30 p.m. to allow students the opportunity to interact with students from other districts.
Dress is semiformal for the students.
