Junior Women’s League to meet Dec. 2

Accepting responsibility for league offices of the Boardman Poland Junior Women’s League in 2014 at the annual Christmas Social, to be Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Steamer’s Tavern at 10078 Market St. in North Lima, are President Debbie Weaver, President Elect Nina Lowery, First Vice President and Membership Chairwoman Linda Fabian, Second Vice President and Programs Debbie Chop, Recording Secretary/Hospitality Shannon Green, Corresponding Secretary Yvonne Ford, Treasurer Margaret Cherol and Assistant Treasurer Sperry Rongone. Corky Nosek GFWC/Ohio Federation of Women’s Club President will install the new officers in a candlelight service on that evening. Members collected gift items for soldiers from Boardman and Poland who were listed in the Operation Holiday Cheer program. The Boardman Poland Junior Women’s League is open to women over 18, residing in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties who are interested in fun and community involvement. Its mission is to provide a creative outlet for women interested in providing community service in areas of arts, conservation, education, home life, international affairs and public affairs.
