Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church was the setting of the 2 p.m. June 22 wedding of Elizabeth Oles and Kenneth Smith. The Rev. Michael Swierz officiated. A reception followed at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Hall.

Parents of the couple are Mark and Barbara Oles of Poland and Timothy and Regina Smith of Cleveland.

The bride wore a lace fit-and-flare gown with a low back and chapel train.

Christina Oles, the bride’s sister, and Jaclyn Serich Williams, the bride’s cousin, were honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Cara Koshut, Allison Naples, Adriana Quattro and Anna Wiemels, the bride’s cousins; Rebecca Smith, the groom’s sister-in-law; and Emily King, the groom’s cousin.

The attendants wore coral knee-length gowns.

Connor and Ty Smith, the groom’s brothers, shared the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Mark and Nicholas Oles, the bride’s brothers; Jeff Kerley; Adam Uhlenhake; Matthew Denk; and Christopher Ernest, the groom’s uncle.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in English from Notre Dame College and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Ursuline College. She is an English teacher at Padua Franciscan High School in Parma.

The groom received a bachelor’s degree in information systems from the University of Dayton and is studying for his master’s degree in security police studies at Notre Dame College of Ohio. He is a security consultant for Secure State in Bedford, Ohio.

After a wedding trip to Italy, the couple reside in North Royalton.
