Christmas comes but once a year

The Giffords, from left to right, Lauren, Mike, Natalie and Alison, visit the Barnhisel House in Girard. The Girard Historical Society operates the house and will host a Christmas Open House with refreshments, music and an estate decorated with many trees. This year’s theme, A Beary, Dolly Christmas, features a variety of bears and dolls. Open houses begin Saturday and Sunday and run every weekend from 1 to 5 p.m. until Dec. 15.
