THURSDAY

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., North Lima, will serve a free dinner on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The dinner comprises turkey, stuffing, potatoes, green beans, sweet potatoes, coleslaw, applesauce, rolls and pie. SATURDAY

North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, will serve an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. The menu consists of eggs, pancakes, French toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and mushrooms, coffee, orange juice and other beverages. SUNDAY

St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Drive, Youngstown, will sponsor its Sauce and Song spaghetti dinner and concert from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the church social hall. The dinners cost $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 8 and under. The menu includes salad, bread, beverage and dessert. Carryouts will be available, and containers will be provided. The concert at 2 p.m. will feature the McClellan Family and the Mahoning Valley Chorale under the direction of Kris Harper. VFW Post 2799 will serve a homestyle breakfast sponsored by the ladies auxiliary from 8 a.m. to noon. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. The menu consists of eggs, hash browns, sausage or ham, pancakes or freedom toast, toast and coffee or tea.

Vincent United Methodist Church, Walnut Street, Jackson Center, Pa., will serve creamed chicken over biscuits beginning at 12:30 p.m. The fundraiser will include potatoes, coleslaw, applesauce, beverages and dessert for $8 for adults and $4 for children under 10.

Youngstown Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown, will host a spaghetti dinner from noon to 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $7.50 for adults, $4 for children 5 to 12 and free for kids 4 and under. Meatballs cost 50 cents for two. For information call 330-792-7973.

MONDAY

Hendersonville United Methodist Church, state Route 965, between Jackson Center and Franklin, Pa., will host the annual hunters’ chili dinner fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The cost for adults is $6 for all the chili you can eat, bread, pie and beverages. St. John the Baptist Cultural Society is sponsoring a velija dinner from 3 to 8 p.m. Dec. 8 at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. John the Baptist Church Hall, 159 Reed Ave., Campbell. Appetizers will be served from 3 to 4 p.m., and dinner will follow at 4. Tickets are $15 each and must be purchased in advance by calling Mariann Pacak at 330-755-1979 by Sunday.
