City police made three drug arrests over the weekend, with two of those coming late Sunday.

Police say they found 24-year-old Michael Nakley of Struthers in possession of two bags of what appeared to be marijuana after he was pulled over at West Boston and Idlewood avenues on the South Side about 11:21 p.m. Sunday.

He was charged with possession of marijuana, and a woman in the car, Heather Church, 25, was arrested on two warrants.

About 11:15 p.m. Sunday, Randall Ball Jr., 29, of Columbiana, was arrested on a charge of possessing drug-abuse instruments and a warrant for the same charge after a syringe was found beside a parked car he was in on Tracey Lane near Oregon Avenue on the West Side.

Ball told officers he was picking up a car he lent a friend in the area but he did not know the friend’s name, and he did not know where the person lived, reports said. The syringe police found outside the car was full, reports said.

He was taken to the Mahoning County jail.

Just after midnight Saturday, Korron Davoe, 32, of Youngstown, was arrested on the East Side for driving under suspension, drug trafficking, possession of dangerous drugs and two warrants after he was pulled over at Buckeye Circle near Loveland Avenue for an illegal turn.

Officers found eight bags of what appeared to be marijuana after searching it.

He was taken to the Mahoning County jail.
