Fire damages home on Midlothian Boulevard

Fire investigators are looking at electrical problems as the cause of a fire at a 1421 E. Midlothian Blvd. home about 4:15 p.m. Monday that casued $6,000 in damage.

Reports said firefighters found fire coming from a vent in the home, which has been sublet into apartments, when they arrived. The tenant in the unit that caught fire said she noticed the ceiling fan in her bathroom begin smoking when she turned it on.

The bathroom breaker was tripped, reports said. No one was injured.
