BINGO, CARD PARTIES

Bethlehem WELCA of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 388 E. Midlothian Blvd., Youngstown, will sponsor Holiday Bingo from 2 to 5 p.m. Dec. 7. Admission costs $7 per person and includes unlimited bingo, prizes and a salad lunch. There will be a 50-50 raffle. CRAFT SHOWS

Newton Falls Community Center, 52 E. Quarry St., will be the location of a Community Christmas Arts and Crafts show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 15. Santa will arrive at 2:30 p.m. Also there will be a basket raffle, 50-50 drawing, crafters, hot food, coffee and pie, veterans pantry, local food drive and Toys for Tots.

St. Michael Carpatho-Russian Church, 125 Steel St., Youngstown, is seeking vendors for a craft show planned from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 6 and 7. Kielbasa, haluski and other foods will be available. Call the Rev. Andrew Gromm at 330-799-8133.

FUNDRAISERS

Trumbull Senior Production Co. is hosting a Christmas Lottery Tree raffle fundraiser at Santisi’s IGA in Girard. The event runs through Dec. 15, and the winning lottery ticket of $150 will be drawn Dec. 16. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any cashier at Santisi’s. Proceeds will benefit a needy family, the Salvation Army and a $1,000 scholarship to an area high school graduate who is pursuing a career in the performing arts.

SALES

Belmont VA Clinic, 2031 Belmont Ave., Youngstown, will be the site of a Holiday Treasure Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 6. New, vintage and gently used items, pepperoni rolls and baked goods will be sold, and there will be a 50-50 raffle. Donations and baked goods will be accepted (no clothing please). The event is sponsored by VA Clinic Volunteers.

Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman, will host a Christmas cookie walk, soup and quilt sale from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 14. Homemade cookies will cost $5 a dozen. Homemade soup will be $5 to $6 a quart, and handmade quilts and table runners will be for sale. For information call 330-758-7796.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Hubbard Pool Boosters Winter Wine Tour is set for Dec. 7. The cost is $35 per person and includes stops at L’uva Bella, Masterpietro, Candlelight and Emerine Estates. The bus begins loading at 11 a.m. at the Sharon Regional Diagnostic Center, 880 W. Liberty St., Hubbard. Call Bonnie Harrison at 330-534-5358 to buy your tickets.
