Dr. Kristina Alaan of Morgantown, W.Va., and Dr. Adam Luchey of Tampa, Fla., exchanged vows June 22 at Christ the King Church. Deacon Jacob Favela officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

Dr. Lorenzo and Alicia Alaan of Cebu City, Philippines, are the bride’s parents, and Michael and Saundra Luchey of Boardman are the parents of the groom.

After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple reside in Tampa.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree and a medical doctor degree from the University of Southern California. She is a doctor for West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown, W. Va.

Her husband earned a medical doctor degree from Northeastern Ohio College of Medicine and is an oncology-urology fellow at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa.

The bride wore a chiffon gown with a sweetheart neckline and embellished cap sleeves.

The bride’s sister Laurice Chiongbian was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa M. Kutchel, the groom’s sister; Genevieve Barter; Dr. Lesli Casten Munoz; Dr. Purvi Patel; Erin Steinberg; and Alexis Cortes, the bride’s cousin. The groom’s niece Adalyn M. Kutchel was flower girl.

The attendants wore blush-colored gowns.

The groom’s brother-in-law, James Kutchel, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Can Talug, Dr. Dana Point, Wesley Chiongbian, Dr. John Koshy, Dr. Chad Hubsher, and Marc Whitmore, the groom’s cousin. The bride’s nephew Enrico R. Chiongbian was ring bearer.

Ushers were Mark A. and Justin P. Lim, the bride’s cousins.
