City police arrest three on drug-related charges
YOUNGSTOWN — City police made three drug arrests over the weekend and two late Sunday night.
Police say they found 24-year-old Michael Nakley of Struthers in possession of two bags of what appeared to be marijuana after he was pulled over at West Boston and Idlewood avenues on the South Side at about 11:21 p.m. Sunday.
He was cited for possession of marijuana and a woman in the car, Heather Church, 25, was arrested on two warrants.
About 11:15 p.m. Sunday Randall Ball Jr., 29, of Columbiana, was arrested on the charge of possessing drug abuse instruments and a warrant for the same charge after a needle was found beside a parked car he was driving on Tracey Lane near Oregon Avenue on the West Side.
He was taken to the Mahoning County jail.
Just after midnight Saturday, Korron Davoe, 32, of Youngstown, was arrested on the East Side for driving under suspension, drug trafficking, possession of dangerous drugs and two warrants after he was pulled over at Buckeye Circle near Loveland Avenue for an illegal turn.
Officers found eight bags of what appeared to be marijuana after searching it.
He was taken to the Mahoning County jail.
